Amy Sherman-Palladino, the creator of Gilmore Girls (the only show I’ll actually admit to staying home to catch), has pitched a new series to Fox and they’ve ordered a pilot.
Okay, so the one-line description hasn’t totally hooked me:
The new project will follow two sisters who re-enter each other’s lives when one agrees to carry the other’s baby.
But given her track record (GG and Roseanne), how can it be all bad? After all, her production company’s called “Dorothy Parker Drank Here.” Well, I’m excited, how ’bout you?
I just realized recently that she and Joss Whedon of Buffy the Vampire Slayer fame both got their start on Roseanne. The weird thing is the only shows I’ve actually bought on DVDs are these three. Must be something about their quick, poppy style that does it for me.

I didn’t know about that! Now I’m excited too.
