I have three Violet Miranda: Girl Pirate-related things to report.
First, the comic won first place in the Strange Horizons Reader’s Choice Awards, where the first issue was serialized. Woohoo!
Second, historian Melchior del Darién wrote an extensive review on his blog, Mortlake on the Schuylkill.
Third, Guelph academic Michele Collins recently wrote a research paper about it for her University of Guelph English paper. It’s not currently online, but if the idea of theoretical dissection of our indie comic thrills you, you could probably email Michele and ask her to email you a copy… Heh.
