I’ve often joked that I’d be the spokeswoman for the Toronto Public Library because it played such a phenomenally important role in my childhood. Well, that’s not going to happen, but I am reading at two different branches in October. I’m also participating in a panel on (Sub)Cultures in the Global Mainstream at Harbourfront (another cool, free Toronto institution) on August 29. More info here
