Just went to the bookstore and found out that the new issues of Shameless and Matrix magazines both have really nice reviews of Iron-on Constellations in them. (Links to the reviews are below)
In the Shameless review, Suzanne Sutherland says this:
Carefully toeing the line between being blunt and making readers uncomfortable, this collection contains enough rough edges to grasp the attention of those who would otherwise scoff at a collection of Canadian poetry.
In Matrix, Ian Sullivan has a fabulous take on my book. He says:
Pohl-Weary portrays the dark side of life, but no matter how tragic life can be, she shows that the ordinary person living it is beautiful.
